I kind of understand what went on...I think. I know its a bit late too, but anyhow....I am certain Dive and Woe was trying to do something they felt would be good for the LS and I am also certain that it was not their intention to really alienate anyone as it may perhaps seem. Obviously the method could have been done differently and some of the other issues will need to be discussed some more.

So I got a message on PlayOnline this morning referencing the latest news and decided to hop on over to AT to see for myself..... (insert drumroll here)... the AC shell is no more. Of course it came as no surprise to me, and quite honestly I could give a fuck now. A month or two or however long ago it was when this originally came up (yeah, I'm too lazy to scroll back and see when it all started, so what?) I fought for the shell, but now, to hell with it. I haven't worn the AC shell in a long time -- hard to wear something that's gone, I guess. I left because I hated what AC had become. The people, with the exception of a minority annoyed the fuck out of me. Oops.. I forgot.. I'm not supposed to speak ill of AT, someone's feelings might get hurt.. Haha.
The fallout from this recent announcement is nothing shocking either. AT sticks with AT, and everyone else can go to hell. I love how Ether/Astra's post was pounced upon by the retards who ruined the shell in the first place (c'mon that's not quite naming names, is it?). I've considered posting my own response over on AT, but I'm done with it (and I have a feeling it'd be censored anyhow to spare the delicate sensibilities of the Tribe). While I lurk now and then for a cheap laugh at the expense of the usual suspects (OMG I made 2.3k in a few hours or let's all ride the airship for gilz!111 or look at me, pay attention to me, lookie what i did, etc) I've severed all ties with AC and AT already, so they can do whatever they want and I harbor no ill will. The few people at AT whom I enjoy partying with and talking to I'll keep in touch with via FFXI and PlayOnline. The others, well, I wish you the best and good luck with those beehive chips.

sessej just told me about this, and it didn't really suprise me either.
It also sounds like they didn't really say anything about the meeting, but I don't play FFXI, and only go to the AT website about twice a week, so maybe they did.
I'll think I'll stop saying my veiw on this right here though, before I hurt a feeling or two. It just isn't worth talking about this now, since it's already been done.

The meeting was an AT meeting. Meaning a meeting concerning their guild buisness. The LS was made before the decision. Things happen. No worries about stuff, there's enough stress going around already.

I see no reason not to be blunt and say what's on my mind, unlike some people who hide out in private forums to talk shit about people. If I have a problem with someone or something, I address it. If feelings get hurt along the way, so be it. One thing you can always count on from me is that I don't bullshit. Nah, I'm quite calm about it, honest. But thanks for your concern. People can say whatever they want about me, and I won't lose any sleep over it. I was pointing out that I won't hesitate to say what's on my mind, or say one thing and then another elsewhere. |
